

What Is Mental Fitness?
Think of Mental Fitness like doing bicep curls for your brain. Just as we try to take care of ourselves physically, we also need to do the same for our brains. On average your brain will process 60,000 thoughts per day. That in itself is mind-blowing! If that wasn't enough, 85-90% of those thoughts you've had before and up to 75% are negative. Overtime, these negative thought patterns can build and grow in power. If not addressed, our Mental Fitness starts to suffer.
Mental Fitness coaching looks at the negative thought patterns and limiting beliefs a person can hold. The things in life that keep us stuck and feeling like you are unable to achieve your goals or build the life you desire. We will work together to uncover these thought patterns and build new, positive ones. Thoughts are things and I can truly say from my own journey that it is possible to quiet the negative chatter and change your thoughts to work for you, not against you.
How Can Mental Fitness Coaching Help You?
Chances are you are reading this having built up a lot of beliefs over time towards something that has then become a learned behaviour or subconscious thought, something you now want to change.
And then, only when you want to make a change, you realise how ingrained those beliefs have become. How painful it can be to try and implement that change, not knowing where to start. You know if you could just implement that change, it will make the ultimate difference in your life.
Mental Fitness coaching delves into the long-held, subconscious beliefs we have about ourselves. A lot of these beliefs will have likely started to form in childhood as a way to protect us. However, as an adult, we need a different operating system with which to work with. This is what Mental Fitness coaching focuses on - drilling down into the old thought patterns that have become so ingrained they are now part of our autopilot, and working to change them.

Just as you can see changes in your body when you do physical fitness, we will literally be working together to change your brain. This is something called neuroplasticity. Neuroplasticity is the process of creating new neural pathways in our brains. We will work on developing the part of the brain that works positively for you so that you can move into having Self Mastery.
Our Coaching will take us through Discovery, where I'll get to know you, your goals and where you want to be in the future. We'll then move into Aware, this is where you'll be acquiring new skills and strategies to start to implement your goals. Next we'll into Awake - you are implementing your new found strategies and starting to change your subconscious programming. Neuroplasticity is in action and you're starting to see change! Our last phase is the most exciting - ALIVE! This is where you have acquired the knowledge, you're actively implementing your new skills and you're noticing real change.
